   DJ, just to make up my mind; 
Pandemics, climate collapse and wars are three major developments I try to follow on this "once-a-forum". Economic collapse may be a fourth development-however closely linked to "war"...The developments are very interlinked; climate collapse IS pandemics...More war is less money for healthcare and education and worsening even further the climate collapse...

WiH=Worst in History may describe "how things are going" as a trend. 

-Somehow "maga-insanity" translates to the US going to war with the rest of the world and thinking it can win and "make friends" that way...Maybe "Make another American Genocide Again" would be more fitting. 

The US is nose diving towards collapse in many ways..."doge" destroying US intelectual basics...(by an unelected for anythging elon musk idiot...He should stick at what his talents are-not go beyond that...It was henry ford who recieved all kind of nazi prizes around 90 years ago...is musk a new h.ford ?)

The main reason why we are not in an all out nuclear global disaster yet is BRICS+ is going for "make bussinesses not war"; trying to get "the global south" out of poverty and western/US$ exploitation/slavery...(another reason may be "the west" US-UK-France-USrael may not have enough nuclear weapons to fight the 90% rest of the globe...) 

-Europe is the fastest heating up continent, twice as fast as global warming...This will bring a further increase of extreme weather for Europe-even more then for the rest of the world...With Europe being pushed into US made wars/economic chaos-trying to "find its own route" Europe will see more socio-economic chaos...

NL already may have had more wildfires in 2025 then in ALL of 2024...We expect some rain here in the coming days...May also get "extreme/flooding"...

Pandemics are NOT under control...the news on pandemics is "under control" so masks are for criminals, "there is no pandemic" (just excess deaths NOT at pre-pandemic levells..measles out of control, H5N1 global in mammals etc...)

For now it looks like "wars" are getting worse the fastest...but "hurricane season" climate soon may replace it...Disease "X" WILL come as a surprise and -when it shows up-WILL be a major killer...

Still for a lot of people not that much will change...for now...

DJ-BALANCED !!! capitalism may be usefull...but it is a governments job to create the balance...To avoid companies take over countries... "The west" may need a "revolution" (I prefer change of thinking). Before 1990 most of (western) Europe did see a balance between government and companies going for profit... The government had a major job in public duties; from healthcare, education to housing, transport-for "the good of all"... After 1990 privatize everything did see "public duties" had to make profits... If you want to avoid pandemics you need to have government doing their public job-for all, tax funded...NOT for financial profit of a few but for "social profits" for all... Russia, Iran, China may not be "democracies" in our view-and they also are far from perfect. But they may have a better balance in private/public jobs then we have.. It is time to learn ! To make democracy work better ! Private companies should NOT buy politics !
