DJ, my view-how bad is it...."worst crisis ever"....but I am still hopefull an open World War Three/nuclear war may be avoided...
-The US was already overstretched by the many wars the US started the last 30 years...Trade wars backfired that much the US may face a very major supply crisis... Russia and China, others, stopping supplies to the US because those supplies enable US regime change wars against them...In fact Russia, Iran, China, North Korea (Venezuela, Cuba, African countries) see themselves now in war with the US. -trumpf expected the US accepting Crimea as part of Russia could end the UKraine war...Very unrealistic ! So the US may NOT be able to get out of the UKraine war...while the US -more or less- is already involved in "new" wars with Iran, China... -The EU, because of tariffs and economic needs, switching towards Asia for (re)starting trade. Even Canada may increase ties with the EU... -NATO at least three "fractions"; Türkiye deeply sunk into Syria war swamp... US "fighting Asia" and an-as always-divided EU trying to avoid total (economic/political) collapse...UK in between EU and US...but US tariffs may push the UK "into" the EU... ------- Biggest risks are netanyahu, zelenski going completely stupid...An "UKraine" attack on the may 9 Moscow -80 year victory over nazi-germany- event (with lots of international guests Xi a.o.) would end ANY further talks on an UKraine deal...(a major attack on Moscow on may 9 may see zelenski dead within weeks...).
